2008 - 2009 Scholarship Recipients

Lori Rensink
Freeman Academy High School

Lori Rensink of Freeman Academy High School has been named recipient of the $1,000 Golden West Scholarship for 2010.

Lori was selected by the school based on a number of merit based qualities including leadership, academic achievement, civic and extracurricular activities, and the motivation to serve and succeed.

Lori has participated in basketball, volleyball, track, choir, band, cheerleading and oral interpretation. She has held various class offices, been a leader in her church youth group, taught Bible school and worked as a camp counselor. She has been an honor roll student since the seventh grade.

Lori plans to attend the University of Sioux Falls and major in social work.
