2008 - 2009 Scholarship Recipients

Caryn Hillberg
Tri-Valley High School

Caryn Hillberg of Tri-Valley High School has been named recipient of the $1,000 Golden West Scholarship for 2010.

Caryn was selected by the school based on a number of merit based qualities including leadership, academic achievement, civic and extracurricular activities, and the motivation to serve and succeed.

Some of Caryn’s activities include basketball, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, National Honor Society and softball. She has served as track manager and junior class president. Her plans this fall include attending Black Hills State University to major in business administration with an emphasis on tourism and hospitality.
