60 Years Strong

In 1952, King George VI died and his daughter Elizabeth was proclaimed Queen of England. Ernest Hemingway’s novel The Old Man and the Sea and John Steinbeck’s novel East of Eden were released. the world was slim, unless your home was equipped with a black instrument called
a telephone.
