Donation and sponsorship guidelines

At Golden West, we don't just believe in rural communities. For over 100 years, we’ve supported the communities we serve, helping build stronger, more vibrant rural communities. As part of our ongoing efforts to enhance our community support, we provide funding and assistance through three main avenues:

Donations: Contributions to support community-focused initiatives that enhance well-being and strengthen the fabric of our communities. For adequate review, please allow 4 to 6 weeks for a response.

Sponsorships: Support for events, programs, or organizations that include exposure for Golden West and encourage community engagement and align with our mission to strengthen the communities we serve. Please allow up to 6 weeks for a response.

Economic Development: Funding for projects that stimulate local economies, promote growth, and generally require 501(c)(3) status. We are committed to empowering rural communities through strategic investments that drive innovation and collaboration. Please allow two to three months after applying for a response. Contributions are not generally given for travel or travel-related expenses, to individuals, to organizations based outside of the communities we serve, or for Golden West services.
